Life & Legacy of Hadhrat Moulana Yusuf Motala

Glasgow Central Mosque is pleased to host a special programme, in English, on the Life and Achievements of late Hadhrat Moulana Yusuf Motala Sahib, Rahmatullah Alayh, in the presence of our guest speakers, Sheikh Ahmad Ali of Bradford and Dr Mahmood Chandia of Bolton.

This will take place on Saturday 28th September after the Maghrib Salah (7.05pm) In’sha’allah. Brothers & Sisters welcome.

Sheikh Ahmad Ali is a student of Hadhrat Yusuf Motala Sahib, a graduate of Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya (Bury), Al Jamiiyah al Islamiyah (Madina) and Azhar University (Egypt).

Dr Mahmood Chandia is a graduate of Al-Azhar University, Cairo (Egypt) and the University of Manchester (England). He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, a graduate of Darul Uloom Al Arabiya Al Islamiya (Bury), a teacher of Hadith at Darul Uloom Bolton and a Senior Lecturer at Lancashire University.

Doors Open Days

Glasgow Central Mosque will be opening it’s doors on the 21st & 22nd September from 11am to 5pm.
 
Step inside and see Scotland’s first purpose-built mosque featuring Islamic architecture, marvellous red sandstone, an arabesque courtyard, walled garden, iconic minaret and dome which fills the main prayer hall with natural light. Come and enjoy our exhibition and presentations.
 
Last year we had hundreds of visitors over the weekend, so do not miss this fantastic opportunity. Invite your family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues.
