I’tikaf
Glasgow Central Mosque will be providing the opportunity to enter the Masjid for I’tikaf this weekend, Saturday 12th October, after the Asr Salah at 5pm In’sha’allah, in the company of Shaykh Ahmad Ali Lunat (DB) from Leicester Central Mosque, a senior Khaleefah of Hadhrat Moulana Yusuf Motala Rahmatullah Alayh – may Allah SWT illuminate his grave.
I’tikaf is “to confine oneself in a mosque for prayers, invocations and Ibadah, leaving the worldly activities for a limited number of days” and is a Sunnah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ.
