Glasgow Doors Open Days

Glasgow Central Mosque is pleased to be opening it’s doors again on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th September from 11am to 5pm.

Step inside and see Scotland’s largest and first purpose-built mosque featuring Islamic architecture, marvellous red sandstone, an arabesque courtyard, walled garden, iconic minaret and dome which fills the main prayer hall with natural light. Come and enjoy our exhibition and presentations.

Invite your family, friends, neighbours and work colleagues.

Guided tours will run at the following times on both days:

Glasgow Central Mosque is pleased to host Shaykh Abdul-Raheem Limbada, a senior lecturer of Hadith and Tafseer.

Shaykh’s inspirational talk, in English, on the month of Muharram, will take place on Saturday 22nd July after the Asr Salah (8pm), In’sha’allah.

Charity Distribution

Glasgow Central Mosque works with carefully selected NGO partners to ensure 100% of your donations are distributed directly to the needy. Over the last year, your fitrana donations have been funding projects in Africa, the Middle East and Asia including:

• 500 monthly food packs across 14 villages in Gambia
• 250 monthly food packs in Pakistan to flood affected areas and day workers
• Food distributions to needy families in Gaza
• Food distributions in Somalia

This is a collective community effort which is only possible through your generous donations and the dedication of the volunteers from both GCM and oversees who help plan and distribute much needed help.
