Khatam E Nubuwwat

Glasgow Central Mosque in association with other Mosques within Glasgow and its surrounding areas proudly present this year’s Khatam E Nubuwwat conference. The evening will feature a selection of short speeches in both English and Urdu from various local scholars on the critical importance of Muhammad ﷺ as the seal of prophethood and the finality of Allah (swt)’s messengers.

An open invitation is extended to all and we encourage you to attend and enjoy this unique family event on Tuesday 1st January @ Glasgow Central Mosque from 4pm (after Maghrib) to 7.30pm (Isha).

This is a FREE EVENT for brothers and sisters.

There is a crèche facility and dinner will be served for all attending.

 

Getting Married

Glasgow Central Mosque will be delivering a short course for young adults and parents about life before marriage, choosing a partner and getting married.

This will take place on Saturday 5th January at 6pm in the Small Community Hall, In’sha’allah.

Themes include:

The course is in English and open to both brothers and sisters (no children under 16).

Winter Conference

Glasgow Central Mosque presents its annual winter conference on Tuesday 25th December 2018 from 4.30pm to 7.30pm with inspirational talks by our Scholars.

Guest Speakers include:
Sheikh Humza Khand (Dundee)
Sheikh Abu Bakr (Cumbernauld)
Sheikh Abdul Ghafoor (GCM)

The program will end at 7.30pm for the Isha Salah (for this day only), when hot food will be served for all In’sha’allah.

Winter Fun and Food

Glasgow Central Mosque presents its annual Winter Fun & Food event on 25th December for all the family with FREE entry.

The day long program commences at 12pm and will be fully segregated.

In the large community hall there will be activities for ladies and children which include a variety of stalls, soft play area with bouncy castles, assault courses and slides, children’s Islamic activities, bake sale, food and an outdoor barbecue (weather permitting).

In the small community hall, we have for boys and men, bungee run, penalty shootout and gladiator duel. There will also be a play zone, chill zone, food and again an outdoor barbecue. These activities will cease at 5pm where the program will move into the prayer hall, with lectures in English.
