Lessons from the Holy Qur’an

Glasgow Central Mosque will be delivering a short course on lessons from the Holy Qur’an; character traits of the Pious and the path to Jannah in the light of the Qur’an.

This will take place on Saturday 8th February after the Zuhr prayer at 1pm in the Small Community Hall, In’sha’allah.

I’tikaf

Glasgow Central Mosque will be providing the opportunity to enter the Masjid for I’tikaf this weekend, Saturday 25th january, after the Maghrib Salah at 4.42pm, In’sha’allah.

I’tikaf is “to confine oneself in a mosque for prayers, invocations and Ibadah, leaving the worldly activities for a limited number of days” and is a Sunnah of our beloved Prophet ﷺ.

You will benefit from the following reminders:

– Preparing for death
– The ethics of selling
– Surah Al Noor
– Miracle of the Prophet ﷺ

Student Life

Glasgow Central Mosque will be delivering a short course on Student Life; How to get the best of it.

This will take place on Saturday 18th January at 6pm in the Small Community Hall, In’sha’allah.

This course will explore various aspects of student life including time management, effective study techniques, mental and physical health and friendships and relationships. We learn how to balance the pressures of study with personal and family life helping to navigate successfully through college and university while maintaining personal integrity and spiritual values.
