Shawwal Fasting

Observing six days of fasting during Shawwal together with the Ramadan fasts, are equivalent to fasting all year round [Sahih Muslim].

Those brothers and sisters who were following the GCM Ramdhan timetable for Fajr and Sehri can view the Shawwal timetable below.

Also available are the times for those who have been fasting according to the later time during the month of Ramadan.

It is important however that which ever option is taken, you are consistent till the end in following one of the two options.

May Allah (swt) grant us the strength and ability to keep these six additional fasts.

For those elderly/infirm who are unable to book online, please call the masjid on 0141 429 3132 (option 3), where your request will be taken by phone.

The online booking system for Taraweeh prayers for both brothers & sisters is now LIVE. We have released the 3rd Ashara (Days 21 to 30).

Only 12 years of age and over may book.

Please familiarise yourself with these guidelines before visiting the Masjid:

• Do not book a place unless you are sure you will be able to attend
• Bring your reservation code
• Perform wudhu at home
• Wear a face covering at all times
• Bring a full prayer mat
• Bring a shoe bag
• Bring your own bottle of water
• One way system in operation
• Please follow the instructions of the volunteers
