Srebrenica Remembrance

This year marks the 27th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, in which over 8,000 Muslim men and boys were murdered in the worst atrocity on European soil since the Second World War, simply because of their religious identity.

Glasgow Central, Mosque would like to reaffirm our commitment to standing up against all forms of hatred and prejudice and highlight the importance of coming together in solidarity with the people of Srebrenica by never forgetting this genocide and ensuring such atrocities do not take place again. We will be hosting an exhibition providing facts about this horrific genocide in 1995 and where we are today. This will take place this Friday 8th July, from 12pm, in the community hall.
