LED Lighting

As you may be aware, we are currently replacing lighting at Glasgow Central Mosque with new energy-saving LED fittings. We have already completed the majority of works and hope to complete the remaining as soon as possible.

The lighting upgrade is being carried out as part of The Future is Bright project with the objective of reducing carbon emissions through lower energy consumption. There are other benefits too such as lower energy costs and improved lighting levels throughout the mosque and community facilities.

We also want to encourage members of the community to implement energy-saving measures at home which will help us achieve a greater carbon saving as a community.
