NHS Medical Research

As part of a drive by Glasgow Central Mosque to raise awareness on health related issues, we are pleased to announce a programme working in partnership with the NHS to carry out medical research into the treatment of high blood pressure.

This will help us to possibly identify the best course of treatment for mainly Africans and South Asians.

There will be stalls in the mens and ladies foyer areas, and a seperate testing area within Glasgow Central Mosque on Friday 11th October and 25th October, from 1pm to 4pm.

We invite you to help us find a more effective treatment strategy for high blood pressure.

If you have any queries, concerns or for further information please contact Siouxsie Mackenzie on 07801 316091 or email siouxsie.mackenzie@ggc.scot.nhs.uk.
